Christmas Day and the forest fires are raging weeks earlier than is usual. We stopped the car on along the Parkway so I could to take this photograph of the Chatswood City Skyline (or what little is left visible)

Thanks bookdiva. As usual, nature is shouting at us to just point and shoot. The emotion mood and composition are just there waiting for you as you crest the hill. It is sad, and I'm glad I was able to share the voice with you :)

:D :mediate: it so is surreal! omg being there was so intense. it was so HUGE! just towering over the landscape, i mean u can see it dwarfing those massive skyscrapers to its kinda nuts!

christmas fires get very bad here, like california. but usually not that bad where i live just more crazy vistas. really crazy in this particular instance!

glad u enjoyed it. totally surreal :D

Beautiful capture, and even more so beautiful clouds and sky. I love the soft orange of the sun breaking through the clouds slighty, very nice indeed. Im glad its srping now
